What is two-factor authentication?

This is an additional layer of security that all users can add to their account, which requests a 6-digit code in addition to your password. This is mandatory for site admin and developer roles.

How do I set up two-factor authentication?

To protect your account from unauthorised access, we recommend you enable two-factor authentication.

I am trying to set up two-factor, but you havenโ€™t emailed me a code.

Two Factor through our system does not utilise email codes; it requires an Application to be downloaded either to your mobile device or to your PC, which is linked to MyST. You can configure the two-factor authenticator using the Trust Payments guide.
