Who can benefit from Dynamic PayLinks?
Any customer who has signed up to the GuestPay platform.
Non- Guestpay customers can still use the Pay By Link function within MyST, please note that any payments will not automatically integrate and will need to be posted manually. Please click here for further details.
When can PayLinks be used?
A PayLink allows you to send a guest a digital link to pay a deposit for upcoming bedroom, function or Adv C&B booking within Rezlynx.
Can I hide the PayLink URL behind some friendly text?
Yes, this is possible for the Auto/Dynamic PayLink tag (%AUTOPAYLINK%).
This is not possible for the Manual PayLink tag (%PAYLINKS%).
Will PayLinks work with the existing Template Automation?
Yes. Both Manual Paylinks & Auto/Dynamic PayLinks will work with this feature.
Can PayLinks be used for Resident Bookings?
This is not currently an option. However, as part of GuestStay the guests' balance can be viewed and settled online via the GuestPay secure payment pages.
Are Paylink reminders sent for unpaid paylinks?
Reminder emails for unpaid PayLinks will automatically be sent from Rezlynx. The schedule is as follows:
Reminder - three days before Due Date.
Due - On the Due Date.
Overdue - one day after Due Date.
Reminder emails will be automatically sent when all of the following criteria are met:
Reservation has pre-arrival booking status.
Paylink is Unpaid.
Contact profile is linked, if not then the Guest Profile is used.
β οΈImportant: Reminder emails will not be sent for Dynamic PayLinks.
When selecting Send Email from the Guarantee tab - which email is used?
The email address and language will be pre-selected based on what was selected in the "Who is Paying?" section, when the PayLink was created and is shown under "Payer". If Default is shown, this will send to the Contact Profile on the booking, if the Contact Profile is not linked then the Guest Profile will be used.
Which From Email is used to send a Paylink?
The system will select the Send From address based on the following:
If you have new email facility set up, then this email will be used for sending paylinks.
If you do not have new email facility set up, then a generic [email protected] email will be used to send the paylink.
