Unpair PED
A paired PED can be unpaired to revert a previously paired terminal to standalone mode, this is required for some specific actions including:
You can pair back your PED, to change it from a standalone mode to Tru-Link integrated mode, once the above actions have been completed.
Check PED Status
The PED is paired when this icon is shown on the main screen:
Unpair the PED
To unpair the device to revert it to the standalone mode, follow the steps below:
On the PED main screen, select the nine dot Quick Menu in the bottom right.
Select Admin and enter the Manager Password.
📌Note: Contact a manager on-site if you are unsure of this six digit code.
Select Unpair POS.
Once successfully unpaired, the pairing icon in the top right of the screen will be crossed out as shown below:
